True Design Studios received the opportunity to partner with Lennar Homes as their first client in the Mid-Atlantic Region. The Lennar Jacksonville Division has been a longtime client of TDS, acting as a significant advocate for their services to Josh Bundy, the head of Architecture for Lennar Maryland. That combined with a glowing recommendation from TDS’s industry partner, Apex Technology in Frederick, MD has secured TDS the opportunity to expand its relationship with Lennar into new markets.
TDS received this opportunity by way of its sister corporation, Apex. Apex had developed a great relationship with Metcalfe Heating and Air Conditioning through working together on Winchester Homes HVAC designs. After providing fantastic service, Metcalf then recommended Apex to Lennar who was also looking for a mechanical engineer that could jump in and do some HVAC design work. That initial introduction led to introducing Lennar to Apex’s Mid-Atlantic Lead, Jesse Dayhoff PE and his structural design team. Damon Roby, Managing Principle of TDS, stated “We are very excited to bring tangible value to Lennar Homes in Maryland through precise and effective documentation, and I believe this is a great example of the type of benefits that we can offer because of the close working relationship with Apex Technology.” TDS will have the opportunity to expand their clientele to a whole new market and assist with bringing some of their more popular plans in line with new code changes as well as design new elevations that are reflective of the current market trends.
