Over the past few years TDS has grown exponentially and doubled its staff, including the addition of two industrious interns. This summer TDS had the pleasure of employing an exceptional intern, Audrey Reda.
Audrey graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture. Audrey interned from June to August and stated, “I enjoyed being present in the office. Everyone is extremely helpful and nice. It is a lot like the initial studios that I worked in…very comfortable. As cheesy as it sounds, each day got better and better.”
Over the summer Audrey was not only dedicated to her Internship at TDS but also to the lengthy commute three days a week. Monday – Wednesday Audrey commuted from Middleburg, FL. It is usually a three-hour journey (one way) that involves several bus connections with the final four miles being done on a bike that Audrey took with her. That level of dedication is difficult to find and it spoke volumes about Audrey’s passion for Architecture and her commitment to being the very best at what she does. TDS is extremely proud that she chose their team to help her along her journey.
Damon Roby, Managing Principle, stated, “We were so honored to have Audrey as our intern. She is very knowledgeable and added a lot to our team this summer.” TDS strongly believes that a caring attitude is important in maintaining strong morale and fostering a positive work environment which ultimately leads to more success for all. TDS wishes Audrey the best of luck in her future endeavors as she attends the University of Washington in Seattle to obtain her Masters in Architecture this fall.
